well in that case Stumpmi, good thing you did have your picks edited and had a second post because I know I changed something on your picks because you got about 10 more pionts when I re-added them.

I will try not to let it happen again!
Should i choose to continue to play....
I have been finishing in the top 5 in picks per race. It could add up?

It is hard. You lose basically 100 poitns per race you aren't there, we saw that last year.. .guys who missed a race were 100-150 points back.
BUT!!!!
There are still races to be won. And if you look in this thread:

That is the 2011 thread. You can see that we break it down by 9 race segmetns. When we finished up at Richmond last year, I was the Segment 1 winner. We then post two sets of poitns each week, an overall tally, and the Segment 2 standings. Segment 2 will be races 10-18, Segment 3 races 19-27, Segment 4 races 28-36. 9 races per segment gave us 4 segment winners plus an overall champion.
The non points race (Shootout, Duel races, All Star races) do not count towards the overall poitns tally for this forum... we run those races for victory.
We are running that same system this year. You have 4 races left in Segment 1 this year. You have four races left in this Segment, then we declare a Segment 1 winner. We will then reset and you will definitely be in the run for a Segment 2 win if you keep it up.

I must have missed your picks at Phoenix. You're 103 off there. It's one of those tricky things at the beginning of a year or segment is figuring out who is and who isn't full time.
There are just SO many numbers for me to keep straight right now.
And of course, everyone is encouraged to double check their figures and make sure everything is right!
EDIT: When I crunched your numbers, I got 379 points. I edited them in the stats thread. I had missed your picks in Las Vegas.
