Default Manual trans conversion

Im putting a t-5 5 speed out of an 86 Camaro in my 70 Monte. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas on this?

I wish I had input, but that's a project out of my league at this time.

I hope someone can assist you with some information.

You just need a custom drive shaft and new mounts for your crossmember. Get a pedal assembly from a chevelle and convert it to hydrolic. That should get ya started. Oh yeah, depending on the t5 you may need a speedo adapter(some have vss)

It already has the pedals from a chevelle installed. I didn't even think about the speedo part. Guess Ill cross that bridge when I get there. I have a 340 hp 355 out of my stock car that Im going to freshen up for it with 3" exhaust with flowmasters. Plan is to get all the mechanicals done and running like a champ then the cosmetics begin. Its a good solid car with a factory tach and gauge dash. Its factory dark silver with black interior and top.
