I am having problems with my automatic transmission. Basically the car has very little power. Especially in third gear. It takes a very long time to get from 40MPH to 60MPH. Every time I floor it at highway speeds the trans downshifts to 3rd (presumably) then the engine revs up to about 4000 RPM, but the car does not go any faster. Over all all the gears have very little power. Yet the car still runs. =/

I am assume I will need to replace the transmission, I am wondering if it is possible to swap it out for a manual 5spd transmission. That would be kick ***! If anyone has any information on how to do this please let me know. Thanks!
