turning them means:
Takeing them to your corner auto parts and haveing them trued up on a lathe...

But if im not mistaken, Nowadays they don have enuff meat on them to turn them down anymore...

Thats old school pre 60's 7o's and some 80's models and older.

They do that so you have to buy new ones...There cheap enuff so Id just replace them. also when you replace the rotors...also use new pads!

Its not worth cutting corners when it comes to brakes!
So, New Pads and new rotors is the way to go!

I had the rotors on my 99 turned last week. They were warped. $10 per rotor at O'reilly. Only the front were warped. Back were fine. If the rotors are not warped or grooved, I'll just throw some new pads on. I have read that you should hit the surface of the rotor with some 120 grit sandpaper to rough them up in a non directional way, first though.

MAYO; Lets start with the easest and cheaper. If you hit a POT hole. Remember what wheel hit it. And have it checked to see if its bent. Don't go buy rotors 1st. Check the rims out 1st. You might have thrown a wheel weight and caused the tire to be out of blance. Why spend $ 100.00 when I might just be a blance or bent wheel.

He already said he got them re balanced...and the problems still there in an earlier post.I would think if he took it to somewhere with any integrity to get them rebalanced..I think they would have noted and said to him that the rim was bent....?

I have replaced the rotors and pads multiple times on the Monte...The mrs is always raceing in stop and go traffic on her way to and from work on the freeway.
(But she wont admit to it to me.)
She drives it obviously more than I do...The only way I find out is when I take it to the store etc...
