Rear view mirror, to much shake

Default Rear view mirror, to much shake

My rear view mirror does to much shimmy and shaking. Anybody know of any fixes?

Is it coming loose form the windshield

there should be a torx screw on the mount on the windshield, make sure it's tight, otherwise the swivel may be going bad due to older age, you may want to look for a new mirror

It's just the swivel, when the bass hits it decides to point downward.

Turn your radio down all mirrors do that with alot of bass

i have the same problem and though about putting silicon on my figer and glueing it or maybe making a silicon circle on the ground and when its dry cut one side of it and wrap it around

I'm surprised theirs not a aftermarket piece to help with it. I'm tempted to dump some soda on it, or play with some springs or something.

i know i hate to not know whats behind me i use my rear view the most out of all them it sux......butt i like it cause it looks at my girls chest lol....

If your anywhere st.Paul go to axeman on university I can almost garentee you could find somthing there to rig it up
