Ok so I found some Small hooks and I was able to use the new chain the hoist came with lol
Looks like I'm going to have to remove that piece with the Brake lines connected on it, what's that part called? Lol
And even still it's going to be a tight fit

WOOHOO!!!

i only had to remove the oil filter and move the fuse box to the side haha

and there seems to be a bolt missing where the trans bolts to the motor? lol

now to get the trans off, i have to remove the starter... unbolt the flywheel from the TC and then remove the bolts on the trans case to the motor correct?

Don't be afraid to drop the subframe some that will help to give you that little but more clearence, also tipping it will probably help you pull it, so your pulling up the belt side of the engine out higher than the trans side, that way when you get it to clear the fender you can swing the engine toward the pass fender and should clear the brake master cylinder and whatnot, this is decried mostly easier with two people

Ha disregard my last comment lol, yes unbolt the starter, and Tc from the flywheel, the the trans from motor, on my sisters truck I left the Tc bolted to the motor and just unbolted the trans but you run the risk of messing up the splines on the input shaft doing it that way

I know, probably the hardest part will be getting the motor in without breaking something and the polishing will probably take the longest of all :p

Could leave the UIM off when you drop the new engine in.... It's no big deal to put it on after the fact

Also, congrats on finishing the "extraction" of the old motor!! THat is a feeling of VICTORY!! And once the new motor is in and "purrin'", then you can truly celebrate
