engine swap questions.

After the cat, exhaust basically comes down to your preference on sound. Before the cat you have the u-bend and front exhaust manifold that are restricting. A plog and downpipe will solve that issue or a set of headers and matched downpipe.

Unless there is something wrong with your existing 3800, why not just top swap it with the supercharged top end?
This would be a lot less work than doing a full engine/trans swap and far cheaper. You basically just need the heads on up from an l67 as well as the balancer, etc. People frequently sell the parts to do this on the various forums or you can go to a local junkyard and get it yourself. I've seen all of the parts to do the swap for under $500- try getting an l67 and 4t65 HD for that. Plus you get to keep your higher compression and higher sprocket ratio on the drive chain in your trans. Totally different if your current engine is toast though.
As for some of your other questions-
-Chibi is right, you want an l67 not an l32 if you're going to do a swap. You can't use the l32s electronic tb, and it only makes a small amount more power. An l67 would be easier to install and would be cheaper since they're much more plentiful.
-Exhaust, I wouldn't waste money on any aftermarket catback. Power gains have proven to be near nothing. As long as your stock exhaust isn't rusting through, I'd just chop off the mufflers and replace them with whatever sounds best to you.
