i've only noticed small, minor noises on hot weather days under heavy use. really nothing to complain about.
i have a lot less brake dust as well. stock pads used to cake my wheels after about 5 days without a wash.
now i can go about 10 days. after that, it just looks horrible and i have to clean it haha.

if it was horrible, i'd wait till i'd need gas and then take the squeegee at the gas station and work them a little haha. much less work that way when i took it home to wash it!

.003 of an inch is what my Haynes Manual says as max runout.

I'm going to dis agree with the above to some extent, going on my experience with slotted rotors. I've just put 115K mi. on a front set of Powerslot rotors, and am still running the rears at about 130K. Hawk pads. What I've notice about the slotted rotors over the conventional, is that they wear without grooves. The slots perform 2 functions. They not only keep the rotors cooler, and less chance of warping, but the slots also act as wipers and keep the pads clean, therefore no grooves. I believe it's the grooving that wears the pads and rotors out, and getting dirt, small stones, etc. in the contact area is just the way it is. Keeping them clean helps the wear TREMEMDOUSLY! I will never put on another brake rotor without putting on slotted rotors.

And at 115K, when I did the brake job (BTW, 4 years and 2 cars later), the Hawk HPS pads were only wore about 2/3's, front and back. The reason I changed the front rotors was they had been turned several times due to inept mounting by the Chevy dealer when rotating the tires, and that resulted in warped rotors, and requiring turning, shortening the life. I did the brake job to install F-body calipers and DOT-4 fluid. Hawk pads are cheap, so new ones went on the back, also.
