the car will always be heavy, all my interior was in including my fiberglass enclosure with 2 12" subs in the trunk. i will not remove this stuff i want the car to make the time it does on what i have in it. i didnt build this for a straight drag car it is also a show car. there was 17's on the back and 17's on the front with the hoosiers. front tires were at 17psi. i launched at 2,000rpm and rolled into the throttle easy. got to WOT at around 60ft. i could of launched harder since i didnt loose traction but i know that for next time.

its not the car that cant do it it is me not launching hard enugh to make the car do it. i feel if i can run a 12.80 with a crappy 2.3 60ft then if i get my 60ft down to a 1.8-1.9 i will go 12.40-12.50's all day long.

the car has the power to do it i just need to learn how to make it do it.

this was my 5th time down the track ever so i am still learning......

i know you not trying to make it into a drag car i can see that but it's nice to let every know what your car is capable of. it's like the last time i went to the track the announcer was chuckling at the slicks i have up front. when i heated up the tires and made a huge smoke everybody jaws dropped and the annoucer was like "holy ****" lol. to make a long story short my monte was running 12's all day and beating up on V8. made everybody shut up real fast. it's not that im trying to be some hot shot, but sometime some people need to shut their mounth. im sure you probaly have people look at your ride and made bad comments about it, but that's when you line up and show them what time it is.

Glad the Hoosiers are treating you well! I knew they'd help.

That was a great day at the track even though it was packed. Congrats again on the 12s!

Thanks! I was pretty pumped for all of us. LOL
Been checking daily on Facebook and forums for videos of us to show up. So far I found one of me and Pat running. Hoping some of the track regulars got some more.

I was happiest with my 1/8 mile performance- my 119 1/4 mile trap doesn't really reflect what a beast my car was in the 1/8 mile on Saturday. I managed to trap almost 97 MPH in the 1/8, I was thrilled with that.
