Hey turbo I've watched your videos on YouTube soooo many times lol. I keep hearing about top swaps knocking because of the high compression of the l36. I cruise at about 80mph on the highway and I think that's about between 2500 -3500rpm if I'm not mistaking. My goal is a twin charged l67 making about 450-500hp but since the mcss is my daily a top swap has the quickest turnaround time for me right now and the zzp kit is too expensive and too limited on options. Oh yeah I'm stock except for a CAI and a set of flowmaster 40's. My question is, with a top swap am I headed for knock city and should just wait for the l67 or would a topswap actually more beneficial. I don't plan on adding the turbo until I get and build the l67 though. But also wouldn't the l36s high compression help the turbo? Thanks in advance.

Hey there, so I figure you might be a good resource at this point for questions, seeing as you have honed yours in for quite a while. I'm looking to hit 500whp+, I would like to use the zzp stattama st5 cam in order to reach this. For my heads I would like to use my yella terra 1.9 roller rockers and oversized valves and flow matched heads. So my question is what setup do you recommend as far as retainers, springs, and lifters? I have deleted my balancer shaft and will use the double rollmaster chain also. I do have a tuner so that is not an issue. Please let me know if you need any further info.

Dam twin turbo? Is it weird cause it is front wheel drive? And I'm guessing you started off with the 3.8 SC engine?
