ok here is the scoop, i ran my new hoosier's and they hook amazing, i was cautious getting into it off the line for fear of losing traction so i took it a little easy and i hooked hard. i should of launched harder for a better 60ft time, i know it would of hooked it!

anyways i ran a 12.80@112.98 with a crappy 2.3sec 60ft time lol. im pleased i must say, with a better 60ft time turbo monte should have no issue going 21.5-12.6

i went with a few other guys some of you may know:

shawn corrello ran his 05 sc mustang gt and went 11.58@119.46mph with a 60ft of 1.8sec

pat stritmatter ran his bonneville and went 12.82@i cant remember lol with a 60ft of 1.9sec

That Monte truly looks bad*** on the track. Looks intimidating as hell lined up there.. Definitely one to be proud of

 

Great times one fast monte & it still cracks me up the other car on the slip went 2319.59mph at the 1000ft

thanks, not many people have bragging rights of saying they beat a car that was going 2319.59 in a 1/4, but turbo monte has there is the proof

thanks man, yea i dont see why i cant get 12.50's with a 1.9-2.0 60ft time

but i am done racing for the year now, i told myself i wanted to get into the 12's this year and once i do im done for the year and i made my goal

next year ill hunt for 12.50's lol
