Yes^^^ Black is not easy to keep clean, even under the hood. If you drive it at all, it will get dirty. Hell, I don't even drive mine anymore and it still gets dusty under the hood lol.
I personally think it looked better in yellow. The factory yellow probably didn't look so great but if you would have re-painted it yellow and cleared over everything I bet it would look sharp. To me, it almost looks like it's been repainted. Kind of like when people have the exterior repainted but they don't repaint the door jamb areas. Sort of has an unfinished look I guess?
As long as you're happy with the black, that's all that matters
I too am fortunate that my engine bay came black, but I won't post a picture in your thread because I feel that it is irrelevant to post pictures of MY engine bay in YOUR thread. I'll leave that to the other pic ****** around here.
