led 3rd light

Default led 3rd light
Thinking about getting led 3rd light. Have 2002 black ss smoked or chrome havent seen none execpt in pics. Any ideas Thanks Butch

Technically, they are LEDs in the stock 3rd brake light. You could smoke it yourself with VHT or you could send it to Mike (03JG). He can paint it black and clear it so it blends in with your car.

Yup all 6th gen montes have an LED 3rd brake light
Mike (03JGMonte) painted mine to match, used the clear and paint so that it still shines through

Is anyone sure they are LED's. I thought they were the same lightbulbs that are in the heater controls and dash lights. I have never took one apart so im not sure.
