@KJRich There's only 1401 of your car? I know of someone who has one and they live near me.. I'm in a small town too, lol.

Yes, they made a Pace Car every year from 2000-2003. Every year was a different color. In 2003 they made 1401 Pace Cars. GM also made several signature series NASCAR driver models, also in limited numbers.
Funny thing is, there is another blue 2003 about 20 miles away. :p There is a red 2000 Pace Car in a town about 10 miles from me. Here's a good link from this site about the Pace Cars:

wait so the 4t60e that with the 3.1 is the exact same as the 3.4's and 3.8? what about the dohc motor?

In 1997 they gave 3.4 DOHC and 3800's the 4t65e tranny. Before that they used 4t60e's.

Maybe in the Monte they did that. But in the 97 Grand Prix, the N/A L36 got the 4T60E. I am absolutely, 100% sure that I am correct in this. The only Grand Prix in 97 to get the 4T65E was the GTP with the L67.
