'03 with plastic coolant hose leak??
Ok had some issues with my SS and the heat going out once last weekend....took to mechanic yesterday to make sure water pump wasnt leaking and thermostat was good but he said I had hoses near back that were plastic and had a leak. They did pressure test and it loses about 3 lbs. Now my question is what and how easy a fix is this????

its the annoying coolant elbows I'm assuming..
I'm not positive with how difficult the job is, but I do know its recommended to change them out to aluminum. (and add RTV on the gasket ends to prevent future leaks)
Go to your local autoparts store that sells Help!/Dorman parts (Autozone, pepboys, exc..). They may have them readily available or special order for $14. PN# 47065HP
Or places online sells them for around $9 but if you add shipping, its about the same.
Here we go, click this link! https://montecarloforum.com/forum/si...ittings-28491/
Someone in the forum posted a walkthrough. I would reccomend changing that tensioner too at the same time(so you don't do the job again.)
edit: Welcome to the forum btw! And for future reference there are other places in the forum you can post 'help me' threads. the newmembers is more for introducing yourself. The "General Tech" would be a perfect place for a thread like this

I could do the elbow swap in about 30 minutes, then top off and bleed the cooling system. The work is easy, numberous 3800 have thread about this.
Some people have had problems with the plastic dorman elbows (they are like $5 from the parts store). I had some on for a summer, parked and next summer, first ride and they pushed out. I went and spent about $30 for GM elbows. Since then, Dorman also offers aluminum elbows.

If you have an Advance Auto parts store around call and ask them. They cost me about $14 for both. HVAC Heater Hose Connector Aluminum Coolant Elbows Dorman 47065HP there is what you need if you call them. It took me all of 30 minutes to do the entire job.
