Default Leaking coolant on wire near lower radiator hose.

I need some help. I've ensured that the lower radiator hose is correctly installed and tightened. I fill my radiator and can hear/see the water leaking out of the side of the engine. I finally took some pictures that I'll post with this. You'll notice that the black harness is shiny which is wet. That is where the leak is coming from. Does anyone know what could be causing the leak? On Sunday I changed the radiator, Monday changed the heater hose coolant elbows (Installed aluminum elbows). With all that, I now have a leak as indicated above and in the pictures. I'm now frustrated and worried. I have a 2004 Monte Carlo SS Intimidator. The car is awesome and I get a lot of comments on it's looks. The image is sideways, the right side of the photo is the top of the engine. This is near the end of the lower radiator hose.

Dis you get all the little bits of plastic out of the holes for the coolant elbows? If not its not seated right and will leak.

yes, I cleaned it out very good. I looked at the elbows and nearest one is dry. I'm stumped what's leaking. I'm thinking freeze plug . . .

Could be leaking from the manifold. But that's the worst possible. Look in your valve covers for possivle oil and coolant mixing.

I just got home from work. I looked at some video (
) on how I can get more room to look at what's going on and I'm going to take off the belt tensioner. Hopefully I'll have some more pics at better angles and wider. I bought a new lower radiator hose just to rule it out. I'll know more in a few hours.

Default YAY!!! My Monte's fixed!

So this was a duh moment. I took off the tensioner pulley, poured water into the radiator and watched it coming out of the hose. All I had to do was reposition it (it was on the bead of the pipe) and tighten it. I do have to give the video in my last reply props because it showed me how to take off the tension pulley. Thank goodness for internet, youtube, and the mechanics that show us how to work on our cars. The last step I'll be doing this weekend is flushing all the water out of the cooling system and putting in the 50/50 coolant (I didn't want to waste coolant if it was going to leak out). Yes I'm putting in DexCool back in because I let it go too long and clogged up the radiator, hence new radiator install, so I don't want to mix other coolant just in case all of the DexCool didn't come clean out of the system. As you can tell, I'm excited! Can't wait to drive the Monte to work tomorrow! I started it, let it run for about 20 minutes, bled the system, and drove it around town for about 30 minutes, stopped and filled the tires to correct pressure. The entire time it didn't get too hot, I think 1 tick past center was the furthest. By the way, the heat is blowing almost too hot, but I live in Florida so I don't need it that hot LOL.
