Ive had ALOT of people ask me where they came from, be it on this forum, or friends. Ive looked for a year all over the internet, stores, EVERYWHERE!!! No luck. Heres the thing, a friend bought them for me when I had my contour, and that got sent to the junk yard before I got to put them in. So there was a period of time when I didnt have a car these lights would fit so I put them away till I could use them, and lost them. I ended up coming across them a couple weeks ago while packing up and getting ready to move out. So this year and a half Ive had my monte Ive been SEARCHING SEARCHING SEARCHING for them with no luck. All this time I was searching my house I was also looking on the internet (to buy another set) and just cant find them. I am not in touch with this friend anymore (personal stuff) so I cant ask where he got them. Some reason though, I think I remember he said he got them in wisconsin??
Anyway, they are true HID's, all I had to do is make an extra ground for them to work. Ill get a pic up tomarrow if you want to see the bulb. Its cool looking, it looks like a black light bulb but its like kinda glittery. Also, if you want, Ill put up DRL's, brights, and lights at night pics so you can see what im talking about with the green DRL's/bright blue-silver.
Before you ask why the DRL's are on at night, I put a little flash light on the sensor to turn them on.(so you can see the color better at night.

Let me clear something up here. When I said green/blue, I dont mean they are like the 10,000K blue, its closer to the 6500Kblue. Like the silver ones advertized as blue. Still have the blue tint nonetheless, I just dont want you thinking they magically turn as blue as they are green on my avatar. Like I said, let me know and I will put up some pics.

Its close, but the cylinder part in the pic, is a regular looking lightbulb so you dont have to go through the whole process of doing the HID housing. The only difference other than that, is I only had to ground the kit I have. And I think mine has a seperate bulb inside that turns the blue/white for the brights. Ill get pics up here in a bit.

DRL'S.jpg

Attachment 2883

Like I said, to get the DRL's to come on at night, I had to put a flashlight over that sensor on the dash.

No, thats not it either. Tell you what, Ill take mine out later tonight and take a pic of them (one of the bulbs) so you can see what im talking about. Those do look very similar though. Like I said, its plug and play other than the extra ground wire which I had to ground myself.
