S.O.G,

Thanks for reaching out on the forum. What features would you like to see when considering a cold air intake system for your vehicle? Our Systems have all aluminum construction with an insulated air box that comes with a lid to further help battle heat from entering the intake system. We use a large oil type "Lifetime filter" that is reusable. You can purchase our system in "near chrome" or textured black powder coat. The system helps to battle high IAT's which rob power. For more info you can visit us at www.coldairinductions.com or call us at 810-392-9999 Thanks and have a great day!

What wire ? I just installed a CAI on my 06 Monte , didn't get 3 miles before everything went wrong. No gauges , traction control light , ABS , shifting bad , the car would not shut off when I turned the key and removed it ! Mind you this car has never had a code before , never no problems. I certainly don't believe it's the CAI , but I can believe it's a grounding problem . Everything seamed to go pretty smooth , the CAI fit well. I will be removing it this weekend to see what went wrong .I'm glad CAI's chimed in , I've had this unit for 4 or 5 months , and haven't had the time to install it , it's a great looking unit , can't wait to get it right . Is the wire on the PCM , TCM ? The car is a creampuff , always babied , I'm not in a very good mood right now. Thanks for any help.

Post is 2 years old , you should start a new post with info like which engine a V6 or V8 On 00-05 cars the 1 of the many grounds are right on the transmission bolts closer to the radiator along with the battery ground for the PCM ,might be a place to start . Maybe you moved the wire enough to break the ground. Here's a file that Cold Air inductions posted maybe it's in there https://montecarloforum.com/forum/at...01-0520-b-.pdf it can also be found on page #1
