Not yet. I just bought a new battery because the battery went bad. If this battery goes bad or dies I will let you know what I find out.

Similar problem, took 3 weeks to solve..It was the CD player! The player would continue to run after car was turned off! Kicker was dealers policy to turn off radio when cars come in for service. Problem solved hope this helps!

I am experiencing the same problem when I recently installed an aftermarket head unit.

This thread is long since dead but just in case, may I add my two cents. After replacing an alternator and a battery that was only 9 months old on my '98 LS, the car still stalled then stopped with power related issues. I discovered the cable between the alternator to the battery was corroded so I wasn't getting the full effect of the alternator and it was prematurely causing the battery to fail. I think they said it would also cause the alternator to overwork. A simple cable replacement did the trick. Sorry I can't provide more detail as I'm not an auto expert, especially with electrical components.

Default Same problems

I have a 2000 m.c. and have a power drain. Actually i have had nothing but problems with this car. I love the car so dont get me wrong but i can't list the parts i have put on it in the 2 years I've owned the car. But i have pulled fuses, replaced the ignition switch unhooked radios and so much more. Now i think we have narrowed it down to a "hot" ground. Any help is appreciated. And i love this forum.
