what car do you have, what engine, and did you unhook anything while doing the install?

I have one in mine and never even had a glitch with my guage pod.
try installing the air box again and see if it stops this but i have a feeling it is more a fluke tha tthey happend at the same time.

if you unhooked the computer you might also try a re learn on it unhook the bat. and walk away for about a hour or so and try agian.

basically make sure that anything you unhooked is hooked back up or parts that are hooked to the intake system are hooked back in.
also make sure you didnt damage the maf , or that other small one i cnat think of it's name right now.

you might also go have codes pulled on it from someplace like autozone or advanced and see what they are you might have somthing that is real stupid here like a lose plug or somethign that you unhooked and forgot becuse it feel down in to teh motor bay out of site.
I have done this before where a wire will fall out of site and things go nuts and you have to scratch your head for a hour over looking everythign agian and again to find out what is wrong.

Good luck and please keep us posted I have a 03 SS and i did mine with absoluty nothing wrong matter of fact it started to idel better and sounds like a vacume cleanner. it sucks so much air.
Makes me wonder why they chose to pretty much choke them out in the factory.
