HID Intensity Choice

Hey everyone! Just thought I'd let everyone know I ordered, received and installed a set of 35w 5000K bulbs from DDM in my Monte. They look phenomenal and I'll post pictures when I get the chance. The only confusion I have with them is that the female plug on the ballasts must've been wired in reverse, because when I plug them in the proper way for the clips to work, the bulbs won't work, but if I flip them around they light up perfectly. Anyone have this experience?

I plan on putting HIDs in projector fogs and purchasing some cheap xenon-style halogens for color match purposes. I want much whiter highs. Some people strongly discourage HIDs in the highs so that is why I'll just grab some knock-offs or quality Sylvanias, etc. The fogs will be 6000k too.

This is exactly what happened to me with both of my balasts. Thankfully, we managed to solve the problem haha ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://montecarloforum.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

I say **** it lol blue headlights are ****in sweet. I have 8000k low beams with 10000k fog lights and theyre bright as hell which makes night driving much more enjoyable and having signs and the road in front of you light up blue is just cool. While they may be annoying to some, they still make your car an instant head turner. Depending where you live, cops dint really give a ****. My freind has 30000k deep blue HIDs in his 2006 Saab 93 and heds never bothered. I would go with 6000k though. They are much nicer than 4300 which looks cheap in my opinion and they only have an ever so slight hint of blue on the road and on signs. (I orginally had 6000k low beams).
