Default Opinions needed new exhaust system ideas

I have a 2002 Monte Carlo ss. It has a new catalytic converter. There was a muffler delete and has a stock/ factory resonator from 2002. It has the muscle car sound but I need to enhance it. It needs to be louder and grumbly muscle car sound. I have a video link to the exhaust sound I want and I have my exhaust.

Video link :

My Monte Carlo:

I was thinking of putting a straight pipe zzp 2.5 cat back exhaust no resonator and keep my catlalytic converter. Give me all suggestions u can. Once again. I need a LOUD muscle car sound.

Btw my tailpipes are a little rusty

The high pitch noise in background in my car is the alternator staring to go ignore the sound

Only advice i can give is put a glasspack in place of the resonator, you're not going to get a muscle car sound out of a v6. Video below is of my car, no mufflers and just a glasspack in place of the resonator

You will lower the "note" going larger tubing. 3" all the way. But these V6 will never get that V8 muscle car gumble

I'm thinking a straight pipe or zzp cat back or slp cat back. They seem to give a better sound then the glass pack does

personally if you are not cammed and have a turbo bolted up to it keep her quiet unless you like tons and tons of rasp. IMO

Glasspack actually helps keep rasp down honestly.

I have a cat-less down pipe, resonator delete, running to two VX chambered mufflers. It's not a v8 and never will be but it sounds damn good for a v6. Plenty of rumble and high RPM's under boost sound great! If you don't want rasp run a resonator but I personally like the rasp with these mufflers.
