Here's the one on my Camaro (I opted for the black powdercoating):

The CAI for the Monte doesn't come with a new intake boot (so I hope you kept your stocker), because the company felt like there were no gains there. So you are basically getting a VERY well insulated box and filter, and yes there is a spot for the PCM.

I really do like the looks of it but if the box is well insulated are u going to hear the whine of the supercharger as much?

That I can't speak for, because my supercharger is different than yours. But the volume of air should be the same, so you should still hear the whine.

The CAI's that are insulated are for temp, not sound. Such as I have a insulated WizAird, even though I don't have a supercharged 3800, I hear more of the engine then I did with the stock box. Also, keep in mind, most, if not all CAI's have an entire side wide open (as the factory air box only had a small opening).

Thanks for the info guys. Did a little playing with my intake and found out that in made a novice mistake I put everything together except for 1 thing and probably the most important thing (other then the tube and filter) i forgot to attach the bottom bracket to the tube itself so it was just falling off from the weight lol iI put the bolt in and bam problem solved Lmao funny how 1 bolt can ruin the whole thing lol feel free to laugh and get ur +1's I'm laughing while typing this lol

Thanks for all the suggestions and help I will still be looking into an insulated CAI thanks again guys

Yea I had to play with it a little bit to make it fit to where it was pushing against the tb but I got it in place and tightened it down tight went out and rodded it a little and it didn't pop off I'm still going to keep an eye on it but I definitely noticed a difference in power because it wasn't falling off for once lol
