3.5/3.9 need a CAI - anyone can help!
Hello all,
Even if you don't have a 3.5 or a 3.9, you can help us!
K&N does not currently make a cold air intake kit for our engines yet - they make one for the 5.3, but it is not adaptable to our cars. Here is where you can help us. Go to K&N and do a product search for a 2006/20073.5 or 3.9L Monte Carlo. There will be only two products that show up - a drop in square filter, and an oil filter. At the top, there is a link "No product shown for your vehicle? Recommend..." - click there and request a kit for our cars (even if you dont have an 06/07). I know it seems a little dishonest if you dont have a Monte of this year or make, but the squeaky wheel always gets the grease, and we cant affect these changes without squeaking a little.

Hi Curtis, I hope the members help out by doing a few clicks
to K&N.
Power in Numbers : )
I have emailed K & N in reference to a CAI for the
3.5 & 3.9L Engines, but they stated that they are researching it.
Since there are more Corvettes sold then Monte Carlo's
and the Monte is coming to an end this Month : (
I think, maybe the only chance for a CAI, is to have one custom
made or make one yourself.
Many member's have made their own & they are less expensive.
Good Luck & maybe another member has an outlet for them that I
