The only people I would let drive my car are my Dad and my Grandfather. They know all the blood, sweat and tears I have put in to it and they would respect it well. Plus they all used to race stock cars so they are pretty experienced behind the wheel. lol

I have only owned my "06 SS for a month. I would let my wife drive it and she has but she says it is too big. I bought my '06 SS in our hometown...300plus miles from where we live and she drove it home.
Funny story...my wife told me imy "06 SS is an old man's car. While driving from our hometown after buying it to our home 300 plus miles away...me in my 1996 Mercury Cougar XR7 trying to keep up...we saw another Black SS Monte Carlo and I believe it was an '06. I passed the car and guess who was driving...a mature gentleman...made me laugh. I had to call her to let her know she just might be right...a cool old man's car.

...We have several young member's that own/drive the Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The mature/young/intelligent ones : ) Like the many generations of Monte Carlo's, there is a year/model for all ages...Some young'in just can't afford the later Model Monte Carlo's...One of our Monte of the Month winner's is in his early 20's "RickAKA`Ted"...& he's giving up 2 have a 06 AweSome Monte Carlo S.S.
It does not matter what age a Monte Carlo is, it's just a wise investment for all generations....4-Sure.
Thanks Member's for posting/sharing your experience on who you would let drive your Monte Carlo. I believe it all comes down to RESPECT...One must be respectful of other people & their hard earned possessions.

She is pretty cool. She loved driving my WRX when I lived in Vegas. It had a loud blow off valve and she was always revving at people at street lights. lol
She likes the monte too, but her mustang growls like a v8 should. I have had it over a 100 and it is smooth as glass.
