AMEN! I'll stick with my fluid/filter change between 3000-5000 miles. I've used nothing BUT conventional oil and this system is going strong with my 3100. Why mess with a good thing!
Um no thanx every 3000mi will do for me.

I'm sure I could get some gain from synthetic oil (maybe even longer time between changes). I know some that thought my changing at the latest of 5K was long.
