Intake air temp readings I promised (stock setup). Highway - outside air temp was about 86, Intake air reading was 92. In traffic much worse - outside temp 82 - intake air reading 100-110. Much of that increase is probably heat from the cars around me and the pavement, but how much I don't know. Max water temp 207, tranny 204.
Thats not bad for highway temps, but the stock air box is essentially a CAI since its enclosed, its just restrictive. I'm really curious as to what I get for IAT this winter with our wizaird intake, when the temps get below freezing. Im wonderining if they stay cold, or if they reach a certain point and don't get lower. So far its consistently been 4-5 degrees over outside air while driving, weather its 60 outside or over 90, so i'm hoping the same is true when its 20 or 30 out.
