an o2 bung is $2.00 an exhaust shop can get rid of that u-bend in 10 min, so its a very cheap job, while your getting rid of that bend get rid of the resonator too, and doing the 2 of them you will probably gain about 10 hp

 

forget unbend delete get some headers. sell the chip and get intense pcm, 18o* 'stat,

 

Does a set of headers eliminate the U bend? If not I wouldnt get headers until the u bend is gone or you are just wasting your money.

 

headers really dont make any difference on the monte's until you get to around 500 hp from what i've heard, so i think headers would be a waste of money
