Suggestions to clean vinyl?
Car show season is coming up and it's time to detail. The interior is what I'm troubled with. I have white vinyl and would like some suggestions on what to use to clean it. I've tried a lot of stuff, but nothing really works.

You mean the tiny cracks and creveces vinyl has?
Have you tried a scrub brush with a bit of soap? The bristles of the brush will help get into the small areas you can't reach using your fingers.
I do know a product like Lysol will clean vinyl pretty good. You stick the tip of a rag into the Lysol then scrub and area with it.
Make sure you clean any cleaner you us off good like with clean water. I would bet any strong cleaner you use will continue to work on the vinyl if left on it.

i have also used windex to get off stubron stains on vinal. BUT make sure you put somethign on there that will relubercate the vinal and protect it.
the windex will take the oil off the pannel.
Also use a good carpet brush the stiffer the better to get in to deep creveses/.

RE: Suggestions to clean vinyl?
I haven't used anything that hasn't already been talked about to clean vinyl, but I gotta say Protect-All (available at wal-Mart) does a real good job of protecting it. No solvents like Armor-all, so it doesn't harm the surface, and protects the surface against UV rays. I'm sure if I had used it instead of Armor all on my first car's dash the dash wouldn't have bubbled and split as bad as it did. It doesn't make it really shiny either, which I didn't like with other protectants.
