im not a fan of the altima coupe. its like a fake as fwd g35. i liked the altima seR. oh and on the 09 up malibu. the dealer gave me a loaner while they work on my 06. its a 09 malibu ltz loaded. and that car is total trash. under powered, weird paddle shifter, microscopic steering wheel radio controls, god aweful brown beige two tone interior, hideous gauges, four doors, and a trans that when is in manual, automatically shifts from 3rd to 2nd at 25 so that when your going to downshift yourself to second it goes to first and you look like a fool. anyways sorry for the jack. maybe see if they can get you into a new maxima. now that cars got it all. only downside is that extra set of doors.
DONT DO THE CHALLANGER!!!! that things a tank dude. it does look cool though

Not if it's the V-6 Challenger - it's a heavy car and the engine is a dog. If you want to go pony car - i'd go with the new V-6 Mustang - it blows the doors off of the V-6 Challenger.

Sounds like a slow sales week or they have a customer who wants a monte carlo. That happens a lot with discontinued cars. i do like the challenger tho so if the deal seems in your favor go for it.

JMHO
With that said, i say KEEP THE MONTE!!! How much do you owe on the Monte? How many years do you have left in payments? No matter how much a dealer will say that they will "Take your old car and put you into something new", they will add crap into the contract, that you will feel that you were better off with what you had.
I'm talking from experience. I used to get those all the time when i had my TB and after looking at paperwork, my payment would go up and i had to start all over again years wise.
Keep the Monte and keep the money in your pocket sooner then if you would trade it in.
