Maybe saying bye to the monte
I just got a call sayinfg the place i bought it from will buy it back for what i owe and put me into a new car...and they do have a bran new 2010 3.5R altima 2dr coupe. I like those alot and they are quick with 280hp in that little thing....so dunno what to do
I too like the new altimas and the 3.5 is a good engine. Only problem is they burn oil as they get older. If I were going to pay the price of the altima, I would probably buy something else. Like Jomao_o said, go for the new mustang if they can get you one. Also, make sure the amount you owe on the car that they are willing to give you is more or equal to what you would want out of the car if you sold it right out.
The whole dealership buy back isnt so much of a scam as them just trying to move inventory. Used cars are going for more lately and they are of higher demand. At the same time, people are buying less new cars. So think about it like this, they are putting another used car on their lots which will be easier to sell and getting you to buy one of their new cars, which are harder for them to sell. As long as you get a good price for your used car from them, its not really that bad of a deal.

B. I don't care how much I like the '09 & up Malibus, you ain't getting my Monte for one of them.
C. My car is a ONE YEAR ONLY model.
D. I thought it'd be 2010 before I could afford a 200 Monte Carlo. I knew I liked the '00 Montes the first time I laid an eye on one of them. Surprise, surprise. I was able to afford a '06 Monte while it was still 2006!!!
E. Chicks dig the Monte.
F. It keeps my '86 Monte company out there in that sea of '57 Chevies.
G. The '81 & '03 Montes like it as well.
H. It's STILL a new car.
