IF you do deceide to use "WD40"..keep a rag handy to catch the excess or it "WILL" destroy your paint....It has petroleum dissolates in it....

if you do use it in excess and just when you think you got it all...you may come out the next morning and find a missing paint streak down the side of the door!
(Been there done that)



I Highly Recommend useing powdered graphite. Its not only a lubricant,But also contains antiseize compounds (for those winter months) and It "WONT" harm your paint!

PS, I have never used my door locks on my Monte....EVER! with the key....or tried useing the key to unlock the door...

Glad you now have working door locks, I use the lock de-iced too.
