Major question

I think it's funny that;
a: People assume that EVERY SINGLE door lock on EVERY SINGLE 06/07 Monte ever built are seized from lack of use. Or...
b: People just assume that random strangers on the internet are unable to operate a freaking door lock without a fob. Really?
Seems legit...
I can't provide you with a 'why', but I know that they just don't operate the door lock. I sincerely hope that you get an answer to your question though.

YES Mike I'am. After reading that thread I went out and tried mine. And it didn't turn one way or the other. So I called a friend of mine who is a partsman at a local Chevy dealer. Said he never heard that one. Sooo I went out again with W D 42 And sprayed a little in it. I'm happy to say YES the Key does work NOW
What the hell is WD 42 ???
Yes. Yes I am.

It works fine, Must just be that mine is an 07 and Rick's and Greg's have had a year more to sieze up. Time for Chris to chime in with his 06 status.

I haven't tried my driver's door lock in a real long time. I'll have to try it tonight when I go to work.
But I don't use the key to unlock the door because when I do, the stupid horn starts honking. If I use the fob to lock the doors, then unlock it with the key, the factory anti-theft system goes off when I open the door.

I was told you should use graphite power to lube locks because other stuff like ''WD42'' collect dirt and gum up. I don't know if its true but has any one else ever heard this. I have used it in padlocks and never had a problem
