YES Mike I'am. After reading that thread I went out and tried mine. And it didn't turn one way or the other. So I called a friend of mine who is a partsman at a local Chevy dealer. Said he never heard that one. Sooo I went out again with W D 42 And sprayed a little in it. I'm happy to say YES the Key does work NOW

YUP Your right I never do. Cause of the key fob's. But they work now WD 42 and its good to go again

a: People assume that EVERY SINGLE door lock on EVERY SINGLE 06/07 Monte ever built are seized from lack of use. Or...
b: People just assume that random strangers on the internet are unable to operate a freaking door lock without a fob. Really?

I can't provide you with a 'why', but I know that they just don't operate the door lock. I sincerely hope that you get an answer to your question though.

Rick, We had some mail trucks , that only used the driver's side lock the other lock was stuck from little use..

And Mike, why would you use a second key? You mean yours can't pull out of the ignition like mine can when it's running? XD
