That's weird- I thought all of the 6th Gens had an internal trunk release.. Mine has one, but sadly doesn't have a key hole. The passenger door doesn't have a key hole for some reason either.. I think the key hole disappeared on either the 2003 or 2004 models. It can get annoying if your at the trunk trying to open it and the key fob has a dead battery.. If that's the case, the only two ways I can get it to open is to: push the button on the dash or lower the back seat, crawl into the trunk and pull the internal trunk release.
