Yes $10k is SUGGESTED RETAIL (if buying from a dealer). Private party and dealership sales are two different price points, and dealerships do deal with cars with over 100k miles. That being said, cost depends on if the car is being sold by a dealership or private party, which is what I initially said.

I see dealers selling cars often +/- 100K on them all the time. For over a decade now, well maintained cars can last about 200K with proper maintenance.
From a couple used car dealers, I bought the following (and to build my credit back then, I financed each one with no issues):
- '93 Buick Century, bought in about October of 2000 had about 99K on it. Totaled
- '93 Grand Am, bought in May of 2001 with about 99K on it. Totaled
- '94 Grand Am, bought in February of 2003 with 86K on it. I sold it in October of 2012 with 215K on it, drive train still ran great!

He isn't talking abut a 240HP car dude, it's over 300HP and the trans we have in our cars(and yours) are only rated to handle 300HP, That's why 06/07's have such bad tranny reputations.
Like I said, look it over and take it for a good test drive.
If you do get it i promise you, You'll love it

Not sure how high mile cars and trucks are in other states but It seems vehicles last longer in other states.
There was nothing posted If this monte was a private party or dealership sale.
