Is 103,000 miles alot for a 2006 SS

That's about what they go for with those kind of miles its not really that high a price really for a SS. Its the milage that's scary due to these transmissions can and have let go right1around that 100k miles mark. Test drive her, make sure she is shifting okay and riding smooth. It is your call man, your.ride if ya get it not ours

My trans lasted to over 170k miles and still going just replaced it when I replaced motor so that's not garunteed it depends on how well you take care of your car. I believe the ss 06 and up uses same trans supercharged montes use

Looked up car tho 06 monte with 102k is worth 7500. Mine was appraised at 8000 not counting my motor and trans work and the body has over 170k miles lol. Guess the newer models don't hold their value

I don't know if the price is good or bad (as I have not priced an '06 SS). But if the mileage is a concern, as long as the car is properly maintained, it should be fine. For well over a decade now, modern fuel injected cars have been made to run up to 200K if properly maintained.
