2006 monte rear spoilers
first of all this is my first post, im a proud owner of a bright yellow loaded 2004 monte carlo ss with 2300 miles on it. my question is why do some of the new montes have that flat laid back spoiler and others like mine have the tall nascar type spoiler. was this an option or what. i bought mine off of the show room floor so i didnt get to look at the options available on add ons. thanks guys!

dunno... I know for my '06 Monte SS, they say my spoiler is "NASCAR/Race Inspired"... whatever that means...

Your Monte came with the factory spoiler package which includes the "Race Inspired" (as noted by 06) wing and ground effects package. Or what the factory called as the "High Sport" package.
