Default fog lamps

Hello I installed my fog lamps in my 07 monte carlo. Yes it was a simple install. Also someone asked if the fog lamps could work corresponding to the low beam lights, Yes its possible. I had hid on both the the lowbeam and fog. Looks great! The lt model doesn't come with the fog lamp housing, but anyone can purchase a aftermarket piece. If you need a outlet for help and in Dallas,TX, call my car audio shop (214)337-0717.

How did you do the wiring for the lamps? I checked to see if the stock harness might have had the attachment for the fogs just laying down there but i couldnt see anything. Im planning on setting my foglights up to be as close to factory as possible, from the foglight button down to all the wiring...

Default 2007 LT4 w/o Fog Install

I just wired up my Monte with this wiring. I made this one day at work real quick as an aid and figured it might help some people out. Mine did not come with head lights and I was able to find the housing's for about $30 each and the chrome fitting that tightens the housing to the bumper was $40 each.(Yes a little piece of chrome is more than the actual housing....) As you can kind of see i tapped into my headlights wire to act as a "remote wire" for the fog lights. So as long as the headlights are on you can have the fogs on. I plan on eventually wiring it two a switch that has multiple outputs for other options with lighting.Hope this helps any other questions feel free to ask.

Default Fog Light Switch

So while we're on the topic of the fog lights, I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with the diagram below and fill in the blanks between the LB Out, Switch, Battery, and Relay. I am trying to use just my Fog Lights with the switch on and off, but im also trying to use the lights in a third position on the switch as an "Auto" so that they run with my running lights (Halo & LED's). Any wiring advice/help would be appreciated!

Hello everyone unfortunately, my hids did not come with instructions.
I have purchased a new set of black house headlights and a set of hids 6000kl. I am having to mod. the housing to install the hids (purchase separate ) I am trying to install everything myself. Its taken more than 1 week
I have a relay harness installed
My question is....
how do I disconnect the automatic lights to stop coming on as soon as I start the car? I don't know if it matters but I thought it sure wouldn't hurt ask. From all the research I have been reading the HIDS take a few sec to ignite and come on I dont want to leave something out and burn or fry my stuff I got this far I would not be a happy camper after all the hrs this stupid conversion has set me back.

Help! anyone Never is 1 - 2 hr install lol yea right without instructions in detail.

2. Where in the sam hill can the RH blast be placed w/o water getting to it? I have a battery, a horn , radiator, another set of wires I see no room I sure don
t want to drill into my bumper. Any clues would be more information than the company that sold them to me. There instructions install on line is so jacked up they leave off the details and I am learning the hard way
