Default HID's in Stock Fog Light Housings

Just wondering who has all put HID's in their stock fog light housings. Will they melt the housings? Or are there no problems at all? I am not too concerned about the light output as much as just having something that will match the 6000K HID's that I am going to put in the headlights. Thanks!

I want to do this with my '06 since they are projectors. I personally wouldn't put HID's in a headlight housing with out projectors because I heard that the beam is very scattered without one. Good luck.

I have 8000k HIDs in my 02 monte for my factory headlights...the light output is good and no one seems to have a problem with my headlights...especially the cops hah
