Default DRL Disableing of 06-07

it took me many hours and trials to get this to work. i wanted to keep anything hidden and inside the car. as many know it is very hard to disable them as the fuses dont work and its very annoying to turn the switch. it is alos recomended to have them off if you have HID lights. so here it is:
The control switch in the dash is were its at. first remove the side panelfor later access. they have 3 clips on them that do require pulling.
next pull the panel under the stearing wheel off for easier removal of the switch. this has clips and two screws in it.
now remove the switch panel and unplug the wiring and pull them through the side. peel back some of the fabric tape over the wires.
now requires some cutting. there are two green wires. switch them. i recomend getting a little extra wire in with them and then heat shrinking them together.
this will fool the computer into thinking the switch is off. so when you start the car it says automatic light control off. then to turn it on you just turn the **** like you used to tur them off.

Do the lights come on when you use key remote locking or unlocking car doors? How does that get deactivated ?
