haha thanks man, im done for today it just got creepy dark outside, looks like a thunderstorm is coming
i did manage to clean some things and painted my heads and exhaust pieces we'll see how long they last, it says up to 2000 degrees lol
i smoothed out the ports on the LIM, didnt go crazy with them though. i also made the exhaust ports on the heads a tiny bit wider

Would it be ok if i pressure wash my trans? i wanna clean it up and paint it black going to get a new filter and gasket on it afterwards

A nice touch im adding to my UIM.... I love how the FAST LSXR intakes look and thought of something since im painting it silver
going to try and add this to the top of it somehow, probably going to get it cut into a decal and then clear the whole thing

I wouldn't pressure wash it, but you could probably use engine degreaser and such and lightly spray it off.

I agree don't pressure wash it. I degreased my transmission housing pretty easily because we the took old one apart and rebuilt the whole tranny in my car to do the HD upgrade .

I would just use some engine degreaser and a bucket of soap and water to get it cleaned off . In my opinion

it'd be more like ~180 whp, there's about a 18-20% drivetrain loss with our cars, dependant on wear and tear and such.

x2^ unless you blocked off all the open stuff, but even that would be hard to do, I say use some simple green, let it soak for 20-30 minutes and scrub, followed by a rinse.

Thanks guys but i already pressure washed it
i just sprayed off most of the crud from around the pan. Its ok though its not like i held the spray gun 2" from the surface
im going to replace the pan gasket anyways but yea i still have to scrub it down with some degreaser tomorrow

I have more questions lol

if i remove my diff cover on the trans, do i just seal it up with some RTV? it doesn't seem like theres a gasket there
and with the LIM alum. gasket kit, there were 2 sets of end seals? would i use both of them together? the darker blue set sits on the ends properly but i dont see where that other set would go

these kits come with the Tstat housing gasket as well! something i really needed for my L36 when it was leaking lol
