After the car has been sitting for a while and its cold (normally when it will make the noise) take the belt off the engine and start it without the belt on and see if the sound goes away. My car is making a similar noise and I narrowed mine down to a bad belt tensioner.... worth a try. Just don't it run real long at all do to the water pump will not be working without the belt on.

Good luck
