Engine Build: CSC (Paxton Supercharger) Build Thread
I don't know the "pulley size" like an L67. I know I'm running a 29 and 28 tooth cog setup with a 240mm long belt on it :p
This is a low boost kit, shouldn't need the bov or afc.
Right now I'm running the stock platinum plugs. Trying to find out if I need to run the 1 step colder, or if I need to go 2 steps colder with the autolite 104

no wonder your misfiring
you should just run 103's and gap them around .048-.050
mine is at .038 = novi 2000
stock l67 pulley is a 3.8 which is what im running now
when i first put the novi 2000 on i was maxing out the l36 maf at 3200-3500 in 1st gear. hence why i upgraded to a larger tb. way too easy to max out the na maf. you wouldnt want your car to go boom when ur doing a wot run.

Hey I never updated this thread.
Recently purchased HPTuners, so I was able to load up Z34Pheonix's tune to my car and start to scan and make adjustments. I'm still doing that.
As I was messing around with the tuning, I also noticed that I had a fuel leak. The fuel filter burst at the seams, and so I had to get that replaced, as well as some new fuel line run (because my stock line was pretty rusted). Also I purchased and am running the AutoLite 103's now.
The hesitation in the upper RPM band is now gone.
After I did all of this work, I had issues starting the car. Battery tested dead, so I bought a new battery and cleaned up terminals. Car started a couple of times, then the battery was dead again. Obviously I assumed the alternator, so I got a new alternator and jumped the car, and all was well for 2 days. After the second day I couldn't start the car again. So I took everything apart (again) and had both the alternator and battery bench tested. The battery failed and I got a free replacement. So now the electrical gremlin has been fixed.
After I went through all of this work, my car started to squeal really loud on startups and on sharp turns. My first thought was power steering, so when I had the free time, I checked the fluid and the fluid was fine.
Then I just thought, maybe with how long the car has been sitting, there could have just been a little air in the system or something and that I could just run it for a little while and it would go away. Well, instead it just seemed to get worse. So I was all ready to just stop the car for the winter and replace the power steering next spring when I had more time and more money. We had a really hot day, and I turned the AC on. This made the squealing 100x worse. Then I noticed if I revved the car quickly, the belt squealed. This said it's just the belt to me.
So that night I parked and swapped the belt to an extra that I had in my trunk. Squealing problem gone.
I still have a lot of tuning work ahead of me. I'm all tapped out money-wise, so I can't buy things that I want (like a wideband). I haven't driven the car much, the KR is very little and my fuel trims are slowly getting dialed in (the best I can with a narrowband). Still working on scaling the MAF so that the MAF isn't making me run very rich.
The car is actually fun to drive again, although with all of the problems it was sitting quite a lot and with battery issues, it really hindered my tuning opportunities.
But it's actually able to drive right now, eventhough I have it covered for the bad weather and the fact that I won't be home to drive it for a little bit.

And that is why so many invest their time/$'s to actually have `Fun & Enjoy the new & Improved POWER
`Mike, enjoyed reading your thread & I wish you many more Happy & Powerful miles...
p.s. U could move to Florida or California
then you could drive all twelve months & not have to put in2 storage....Let's move `out & move in with Mod Michael > LOL >
Very glad to hear its all back on track! I agree move down to Florida! We just had a mini meet in Orlando a few weeks ago. Hopefully we can get another planed and let more members know as this was a last min thing. Still had about 7 people show up. I'm anxious to see it at the track!
Thank you everyone! This week is looking to be a nice week (besides today). I'm hoping I can get out there and work on some of the tuning. I'm going to try to take it up to the Poconos this weekend for the first time since the CSC was installed.
This would be my first long trip with the car. Obviously will have to bring my laptop with me just in case

Long time since an update here.
Still working on getting this car 100%. I was able to pick up a set of LSJ injectors for nice and cheap. Went to put them on and they were too short.
Found out the hard way that the Grand Prix 98-99 fuel rail is different than mine, and Jason was able to find me a 98 Grand Prix fuel rail.
Just yesterday, I was finally able to get my new injectors on the car. So far so good, not part throttle KR like I was seeing previously. Still needs some work on the tune I'm sure, but this week is going to be quite rainy. Gotta get out there and get some good runs logged.

And here it is, all buttoned back up:
