The biggest expense you have there is gonna be the injectors and wideband.

Got to love the money dumped into a race car
I just meant I'll slowly acquire it all. I'm saving up for a house and I have allotted myself very little fun money each month. Just gonna have to save that up. No point slapping the A-Pillar on until I have all 3 gauges.

Yea only 6* at wot is very low. I'm at 16* and 19psi wot and I want 18* and 22psi wot lol. I can do it but with my fuel pump not keeping up I backed it down a bit.

Ever think about getting aeroforce gauges? They are awesome to have. My pillar is dual aeroforce gauges and a wideband. Fuel pressure and boost in the dash pod.

When I upgrade my fuel pump I will have a racetronix 255 pump for sale if you would be interested.

I've thought about it, but the only things I want to monitor are those 3 things specific, everything else is monitored by HPT and I always have that running when I'm in the Monte

Also I do have a ScanGauge 2 that is permanently hooked up as well on my steering column.

Is the racetronix a legit drop in like the Walbro?

Got ya. I didn't know walbro makes a drop in replacement. The racetronix pump you need to use a gtp bucket with our sending unit. Very easy to do and the buckets are easy and cheap to find as well. Prj can give you more info on how to do this if you want as he walked me through mine.

What walbro is a drop in replacement? I know when I upgrade to a walbro 400 there not drop in from what I'm told.

When I installed my 255 it wouldn't work in my bucket that's why I needed the gtp bucket. Can't remember for sure what the issue was on why it wouldn't fit but it wouldnt

This is about where I'm hung up with my setup as well. That Novi 1000 cranks out some air and without at least a set of 42# injectors and a better fuel pump the setup won't ever run right. The last time I went to the dyno I thought I could get away with just installing my 42# injectors, but I still need the fuel pump in too. I have it now, it's just a matter of getting some time to work on it.

It's cool that you're taking your time too. Your Monte is going to be a lot of fun when you're done

Think I should skip the 42s and jump right to a 60?

Looks like a new pump is in the cards too ugh. Well my fuel level sensor will finally be fixed after 6 years

Time to save, save, save. I know what I want for Christmas lol

I'd skip the 42 pounders and go right to 60 pounders considering they're almost the same price

But for 5th gens a Walbro is a direct drop in. I have done this in person. lol
