I use Kumho ECSTA AST 245/50-R16 on my 03 SS. They are very sticky tires, I was impressed of how good of a tire it was. I usally bought Goodyear tires, or Cooper tires. Cooper tires are good but not many places here have them at a good price.

I love the Good Year Triple Treds. I pulled up to a stop sign that everyone was sliding through but I was able to grip and stop. Great in the rain as well. I won't get a different tire.

Has anybody had any experience with the Nankang NS-II? Are they worth buying?

Sorry I didnt get back to you about your post Will. I havent tried them in the winter but they are labeled M&S which means you can run them in mud or snow. If I remember right, they had a decent rating on tirerack.I have normal winter tires and other wheels I put on for the winter so I wont know how they fare in the winter.

Well i dont know if it was an alignment issue with mine or not but a had the goodyear triple treads on mine and the tire tread wore down to dam near bald within id say a year and a half, with tire rotation as well. And just to clarify, i dont drive like a jag. I now have general altimax artics on and they are GREAT on snow and ice (naturally by the name) and dry they are great on dry too. Tread is still holding up really good seeing as i already put about 20k on them. I have aftermarkets for the spring and summer so i dont really need an all-season tire. But even with only having the triple treads on for just the winter, they didnt fulfill what they were supposed to. The traction was there for the barking and accel, but the tread just didnt last!

I went from coopers to Bridgestone Turanza LS-T's in the front and the handling is terrible. The tire is designed to handle wet weather and snow better by being rounder but I just feel way more roll into sharp turns and the handling is subpar. Just telling you what not to get, that is if you want to maintain manuverability.
