anybody want to give me some recomendations on a ignition and headers. i got hooker headers but they are all rust and what not. i have a 85 monte!

I'd hit www.summitracing.comand look for Hookers again. See if you can find them with ceramic coating.

yup what he said. Or you could go to your local impliment store and get some John Deere tractor black exhaust paint. Stuff works wonders and stays good for a couple of years. With the ignition it is kind of your choice and budget. I would say either MSD, Jacobs, or mallory. I have seen all 3 and they were all on my I would buy list. When you do decide to go with one make sure you go with the complete set up though. Pick up, ign box, coil, and good plugs and wires. Then you will really see the difference

i like the flowtech ceramic coated headers, price wise they're the best, they're not super expensive and they last for a long time, thats what my dad has on his 56

and as for ignition i would go msd
