6th Gen ('00-'05): Dubstepticon's Wheel/Tire/Brake Project

Once I'm no longer worried about driving the Monte as much as I am, I'm dropping it.
^ best side-ish shot I could find right now

I purchased and had the winter tires put on today. The car is gonna sit a little until Thanksgiving and the again until Christmas because I'm going back to school, of course. L post pics and the info tomorrow. They fill up the wheel well pretty nicely and give the car a meaty winter look. Unfortunately not as much swagger as with my Helos.

Try Easytire .com all sizes, many manufactures and tread desines. You should be able to find what you're looking for and at a good price. I live I Jersey too. Ordered 245/45R18 100W tires for Easy Tire and 18s from Proline for my 02 SS. Had them both sent to my local pepboys for install. My total cost was just under $900 for 5 rims and tire!

Update.
Hey MCF, another step must be taken in this project. I am going to have my supposedly bent wheels assessed for the damage they have. I don't believe it's much more than the lip where the beed forms being out of shape; not so much the complete structure of the wheel itself.
Can anyone in the tri-state area recommend a good shop for having my sorely mistreated wheels repaired?
And finally, I am ashamed to say that I have been on my winter wheels for far too damn long. They certainly should not have been on this long into the summer here in NJ or anywhere of course. The wear has definitely been a bit more than it should be. Not super bad though. Money was tight, and I couldn't buy new wheels and tires like I thought. Not that I found replacement wheels that I liked.
I think the performance summer tires are what I will be looking at, but I'm not sure if they are the best in rain. I've heard they can be though! Idk about all-seasons though. Are they cool enough? hahah
