ok so yesterday, when i was driving around i noticed that i heard some clunking, it was to where at one point i thought maybe a bolt for the engine mount came off again because it sounded like it was coming from the front, then today i had the sunroof open and it sounded like it was coming from the back, the car has 119000 on the body just about. so my question is what can make a clunking sounf ( it happens when i hit small bumps

I have found a clunking that I was told was steering rack.

 

I've got a shock that's bad, when I hit a bump it'll make a thud/clunk sound. It'd be impossible for me to explain it, but it's definitely related to bumps so maybe it's a data point for you to add.
