Default Water soaked carpet

I have water in the cabin on the passenger side in both front and back. The car is actually dripping the water out if the bottom right now near the middle of the car. Any ideas?

In the tech section of this forum is a link that talks about a fix around the cabin air filter. If you have a sun roof, you may also need to inspect the drains for that (as I have heard some people have had issues with those and water in the car). I actually had a sunroof drain issue in my Grand Am causing carpet on the passenger carpet (the drain backed up and water trickled down the A pillar).

Thanks all for the replies! It rained hard today. And there is no water in the car at all. Any ideas how that could happen? Is that area where the water was dripping supposed to be fully sealed?

Sometimes when it rains my doors will fill with water. Once or twice water got in through what I'm assuming was the a/c intake vent?

Check the weather stripping, mine does that as well, so I try to keep my Monte in the garage when it rains.

So it seems the problem comes and goes, but I have now vacuumed the back drivers side carpet 4 times because it has been getting wet...only that side. I can confirm that the door drains were clogged so I cleaned them. I have noticed that there will be water on top of the bottom weather stripping. But I have also noticed that there is water dripping from the bottom plastic of the door. This almost looks like the water is running down to the bottom of the door where it drips off onto the the carpet and or weather seal, and run under the plastic floor trim. The result is what seems to be water filling in the chassis and soaking thru the bottom of the carpet. Ive added some photos because it is really hard to describe what I'm seeing.

water usually sits on top of this weather seal between it and the plastic. Under the plastic the water can run straight under the carpet.
